Latosha S. Johnson
Class of 2000
LATOSHA S. JOHNSON
has been a member of the George Wythe High School of the Arts Choir for two years. In numerous concerts throughout the school and the community, her beautiful soprano voice has delighted many. Her choir director, Mrs. Nina Anderson, has often featured Latosha as a soloist. In addition to singing with the school choir, Latosha enjoys sharing her talent with church members and visitors to New Beginning Tabernacle Ministries where she is a member of the New Generation Choir.
Latosha is also active in the community through her involvement with the school's Key Club. This year she is serving as a tutor to students at Westover Elementary School. She is currently a piano student in the school's piano lab, and is developing her skills at the keyboard, and on the midi lab's computers and synthesizers.
Latosha has made many outstanding accomplishments as a student at George Wythe. She is especially proud of consistently making the Honor Roll. Latosha is also proud to have been a member of the Show Choir when, in the Fiesta-val International Competition held in Toronto, Canada in May 1997, she and fellow choir members won a plaque and a rating of Excellent.
Latosha's greatest ambition is to one day become a famous singer. When she finishes high school, she plans to go to college to study nursing or computer operations so that she will have job security while continuing to pursue her dream career.
