"...Performing with The Brew...Michael Rodriguez, Dexter Walker, Mark Rodriguez, Jamie Hilboldt, and Joe Rodriguez comprise one of the most talented bands I know..."

"....This album is dedicated to the most talented, brightest, wonderful young man I know: Steve Cochran Ellis II...A smile for every mile, a hug around your heart, an angel to watch over you when we are apart...I love you..."

And...To her family

"A lot of 'steps' have been taken throughout the years....to begin at the beginning, my parents Kanawha Z. and Geneva B. Chavis...I could write a book to acknowledge their contributions and a sequel to say thank you and I love you. To my sister Doneva and my brother KZ Jr., I send my love and admiration. To my sister, confidant, and best friend, Arlin: You have been the keeper of the faith, thank you!..."
